In this course, certified by the American Heart Association (AHA), we build on the BLS course material and provide simulated clinical scenarios that teach medical professionals and healthcare workers how to respond to cardiovascular emergencies appropriately.
This class includes hands-on participation through learning stations where you will practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as the team leader.
Digital certification cards will be provided within 48 business hours of successful completion of the course requirements.
The American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS Book is required. Bring your book to your on-campus class, or you will be required to purchase a book prior to the start of class. If you need to order a book in advance, please allow one week for shipping and provide that information under the comment section when scheduling the class. Books can be purchased online at the time of registration.
Successful completion of the AHA Heartcode-ACLS Online course and the subsequent in-person ACLS Skills Check, results in the same certification card as taking a full in-person class.
ACLS Online Heartcode® is the highest tech, official American Heart Association (AHA) Self-Directed Comprehensive eLearning Program. It allows students to take the ACLS course on a computer instead of attending a traditional, classroom-based course. Using simulation technology and scenario-based learning, studies have shown this approach to be very effective.
